Family Faith Formation – Kindergarten – Grade 5

Start thinking now about the next school year of Faith Formation programming for your children and teens.  Spring registration helps us build stronger programs.

Programs for Children in Grades K-5

Family Faith Program is an innovative K-5 Catholic religious education program based on the principle that parents have the most influence on the faith of their children.
Kindergarten students may register for monthly Family Faith on Wednesday evening or our weekly Sunday School Program.

What is Family Faith?
Family Faith is about growing in faith together.

  • Families gather at the church monthly
  • Children meet in small groups with warm and caring catechists.
  • Parents gather in the Church to participate in engaging sessions with great speakers that will help them grow in their own faith.
  • Children learn about and live their faith at home with their parents. Parents are provided with easy to use materials and receive addition support and ideas several times a month by email.
Sessions meet at 6:30-7:45PM  usually one Wednesday per month

Family Faith is about serving together.
Family FaithWorks evenings are a positive way for families to share the values of caring, compassion and social responsibility together. They are offered twice a year.

Family Faith is about praying together
Children in grades K-5 are invited to participate in the Liturgy of the Word for Children during the 9:00 and 11:00 AM Masses on Sunday. We have opportunities for families to celebrate the Sacrament of Reconciliation and engage in prayer together at our Family Faith nights.

Sacraments of Reconciliation and Eucharist
Children prepare for and celebrate these sacraments in second grade but we are happy to welcome older children at any age.
